8th conference of Graz migrant associations and self-organizations on the topic: “Political participation of migrants”

This annual conference of representatives of Graz migrant associations and self-organizations is dedicated this time to the topic of the political participation of migrants. Political participation is not only understood as the right to vote, but also as active civic participation and participation in political decision-making processes in a wider sense.

The aim of this year's conference is to raise awareness of active civic participation among migrants, to develop strategies to promote participation and to strengthen the role of the Migrant Advisory Board as a political representative of the interests of migrants in Graz.

As in previous years, the results of the conference should serve as a basis for the Migrant Advisory Board to make well-founded recommendations to urban politics on the necessary political representation of migrants.

The conference is aimed exclusively at migrant associations, self-organizations and communities from Graz!!
