Integration and local values
Funding is provided for projects with the following topics:
Communication, acceptance and internalization of local values and traditions as well as those of the European cultural sphere
Promoting an understanding of democracy, human rights awareness and civil courage.
prevention of extremism and radicalization.
Supporting integration regionally and locally by bundling and strengthening know-how and through municipal integration initiatives.
Strengthening relevant knowledge and security of action among multipliers and central actors.

Most project financing requires partial self-financing or co-financing of 10-50%.

AMIF - Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund
This funding program has four specific objectives:
Strengthening and developing all aspects of the common European asylum system, including its external dimension
to support legal immigration to Member States, including by contributing to the integration of third-country nationals
Contributing to combating irregular migration and ensuring effective return and readmission in third countries
to strengthen solidarity and sharing of responsibility between Member States, in particular towards those who are most affected by migration and asylum problems

Federal Chancellery
Department of Integration
The Integration Department of the City of Graz supports projects and measures in the area of migration and integration.
The targeted funding of projects is intended to integrate people with long-term prospects in Austria.
The projects (co-) financed as part of national integration funding schemes serve to improve the integration of third-country nationals, EU citizens or people of non-German mother tongue as well as asylum seekers and beneficiaries of subsidiary protection.
