Migrants Advisory Council

The Migrant Advisory Council of the City of Graz represents the interests of people with international history who live in Graz. He is committed to equality, participation and good coexistence. The Advisory Board contributes suggestions and ideas to urban policy, advises the municipal council and works with various bodies — always with the aim of making Graz more livable for all people. Whether it's about education, work, housing or living together: The Migrant Advisory Board is the voice for diversity in Graz.

The Graz Migrant Advisory Council is the political interest group for all people in Graz without the right to vote. It currently consists of 8 elected members who work on a voluntary basis. Elections take place at the same time as the municipal council election — for five years.

The Advisory Board represents the concerns of migrants, advises politics and administration and strengthens coexistence in Graz. He works closely with communities, associations, authorities and NGOs.
